This kit includes 2 wool comb handles and all the Tines (nails, see description below) I have used these on wool and had good success making my own combed top for my spinning projects.

INSTRUCTIONS
Please note: most industrial nails come coated in a light "black grease" to protect the nails from rust. I generally comb through some lower quality wool to clean my nails, but you can also scrub and cleanse them beforehand. This step is optional.
To complete the kit, first insert all the nails into the holes at the front of the handles. (The fit is quite tight by design, so you may need a hammer to tap some of the spikes into place.) Leave the last 1/4 inch of the nail with the head sticking out of the back of the wool combs, apply glue (I use 2-part epoxy) to that section of the nails, and then press them fully into place.
Once the glue has cured, your wool combs are ready for your use and enjoyment.
