๐งถ Create your own fiber prep tool with this DIY hackle comb base! Designed for hand spinners and fiber artists, this 3D-printed hackle base allows you to easily install your own 16D nails (not included) to create a fully functional fiber blending and drafting tool. Available in 9 vibrant colors, this lightweight and durable base is perfect for prepping wool, alpaca, and other fibers for spinning.
โจ Key Features:
โ 9 Color Options: Choose a color to match your fiber workspace or aesthetic.
โ Lightweight & Durable: 3D-printed for strength and functionality.
โ Perfect for Blending & Drafting: Easily align and prep fibers for smooth spinning.
โ Ships Lighter & Cheaper: No nails included, reducing shipping weight and cost!
My video demonstrating the wool combs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzjtNbklmxA
๐จ Assemble your own hackle with ease! This kit allows fiber artists to create a cost-effective and customizable tool for their spinning and blending needs.
INSTRUCTIONS
The fit is supposed to be quite tight. Tap the nails into place with a hammer and add a dab of strong adhesive to the shaft of any that come loose.
I also have a second listing where you can get them with the nails included in the kit, but the shipping is quite a bit more expensive.
