INSTRUCTIONS
The smaller portion of the plastic spindle whorl fits into the square slot on the larger piece such that the circular holes in both align. Once the spindle whorl is aligned, insert the dowel into the aligned holes to make a shape reminiscent of an umbrella. Optional step: carve the dowel to your preference, perhaps with a knob on the end or with decorative carvings throughout. Optional step: insert the included screw hook to the opposite end of the dowel to the spindle whorl so you don't have to bother with a half-hitch while spinning.
